Casting director Krish Kapur, who has worked on Rhea Chakraborty Varun Mitra starrer Jalebi and Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda starrer Veerey Ki Wedding has passed away at the age of 28 on May 31 after suffering a brain haemorrhage. The casting director’s death news was confirmed to Indian Express by his uncle Sunil Bhalla who said that he died in the afternoon and also revealed that the news came as a shock to the family as he had no medical history.

 Sunil was quoted saying, “He died at 2.30 in the afternoon. This has come as a shock to us. He was so young and had no medical history.” He further quipped, “He had no medical history. He was healthy and doing absolutely fine. On May 31, he just collapsed and started to bleed. He died of brain haemorrhage.” His friend and Bigg Boss 7 contestant Sangram Singh tweeted a condolence note for him, “बहुत जल्दी चला गया भाई, लेकिन जिंदगी की बहुत अच्छी यादें भी छोड़ गया तू, जहां भी गए हो वहां खुश रहो, मालिक आपकी आत्मा को शांति दे, जिंदगी की सच्चाई यही है ओम शांति #KrishKapoor (You left us really soon, brother. But you have left behind beautiful memories. I hope you are happy wherever you are. May your soul rest in peace.)”
